Traffic Strings, i.e. „Seasons Rendezvous“, by exploring the „Seasons“, supported the common source of inspiration of two very different composers: Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazolla.”

“The intercalation of the components of the two instrumental suites amplifies the cyclic dimension of each individual construction, by extending it at the level of a multiplied arch over the times and the geographical spaces. With this respect, the own emotional argumentation of the stylistic zones seems impressive, as Traffic Strings propose themselves to be successively placed in the position of the baroque musician and in the position of the contemporaneous musician who convincingly assumes the sensitive coordinates of the age which he represents. Beyond the subtle temptation of the virtuous expression, the band evolution impressed by the empathic homogeneity of the intentions, by the irradiative affective involvement, by the customization of the stylistic environments. The Argentine tango of „Estaciones portenas“ on the baroque covers of the Vivaldi an Winter had the flavor of a passionate adventure in the Middle Age castle; open and closed in a pictorial integration at the intimate light of the candles, the story of this adventure exceeds the simple history of certain styles, due to the natural character of the people who expressed it…. At the beginning of the spring, Traffic Strings explored the „Seasons”.

Trafic de epoci, trafic de stiluri, trafic de autori, trafic de timbruri, trafic de nuanțe, trafic de ritmuri, trafic de sunete. Traffic Strings, a susținut, asta este „Seasons Rendezvous“, explorând, „Anotimpurile“, sursa comună de inspirație a unor compozitori atât de diferiți: Antonio Vivaldi și Astor Piazolla. … diametral opuse, dar în acelaşi timp extrem de apropiate, cele patru anotimpuri concepute de Antonio Vivaldi, cât şi cele compuse de Astor Piazzolla sunt probabil cele mai cunoscute piese ale existenţei muzicii instrumentale. În versiunea pe care TRAFFIC STRINGS o prezintă, veţi simţi că în ciuda trecerii timpului, anotimpurile lui Vivaldi sunt mai proaspete decât oricând, iar anotimpurile lui Piazzolla par a fi în orice moment pe punctul de a declanşa un număr ameţitor şi senzual de tango incandescent. Intrând în „carnea“ muzicii și navigând cu lejeritate în timp și spațiu, cei opt „Traficanți“ propun, în acest show, o punte ce leagă tărâmuri sonore într-o rostire instrumentală inedită, orchestrată de fondatorul grupului, Lucian Moraru. De ce inedit? Pentru că „Seasons Rendezvous“ este, în fond, nu doar o banală reunire, pe afișul de concert, a celor mai prețuite opusuri aparținând unor „monștri sacri“ ai componisticii universale, ci chiar rezultatul unor căutări artistice pe cât de sintetice, pe atât de originale.

„Traficanții” și-au pus amprenta expresivă asupra rezultatului fonic, este vorba, în fond, de o „Muzică a celor două emisfere” ca rezultat al unei comuniuni spirituale ce pune într-o nouă lumină originalitatea grundului inițial al acestor capodopere. „Seasons Rendezvous” reprezintă, o sinteză sonoră, bazată pe întrepătrunderea celor două cunoscute cicluri de „Anotimpuri“ în aranjamentul instrumental particularizat al lui Lucian Moraru care oferă naiului un surprinzător și privilegiat rol solistic.
In pași de tangou

“Intercalarea componentelor celor două suite instrumentale amplifică dimensiunea ciclică a fiecărei construcții în parte, extinzând-o la nivelul unui arc multiplicat peste timpuri și spații georgafice. Impresionantă apare, in acest sens, propria argumentare emoțională a palierelor stilistice, Traffic Strings propunându-și să se situeze, succesiv, în postura muzicianului baroc și în cea a interpretului contemporan care-și asumă convingător coordonatele sensibile ale epocii pe care o reprezintă. Dincolo de tentația subtilă a exprimării virtuoase, evoluția ansamblului a impresionat prin omogenitatea empatică a intențiilor, prin iradianta implicare afectivă, prin personalizarea ambianțelor stilistice. Tangoul argentinian din „Estaciones portenas“ în copertile baroce ale Iernii vivaldiene a avut savoarea unei aventuri pasionale într-un castel de ev mediu; deschisă și închisă într-o încadratură picturală la lumina intimă a lumânărilor, povestea acestei aventuri transcende simpla istorie a unor stiluri, grație firescului celor care au spus-o…
